The new pop music dolls are designed to mimic popular singers with customizable outfits, microphones, and dance routines. The dolls will be available in several versions modeled after current chart-topping artists, and are expected to retail at prices ranging from $50 to $150, depending on features.
Officials from the toy company stated that the dolls are intended to create an interactive experience for children, combining elements of music, play, and collectibility. The company also indicated that the dolls will include a companion app for additional features, such as song downloads and virtual dance lessons. The announcement has generated buzz among fans and collectors, with some praising the innovation while others express caution over privacy concerns and durability.
